Complete package
This video has it all. The Snideman's show a TON of ropes drills, proper techniques, sets & reps schemes, and how to encorporate them into your Kettlebell class or training. They even show drills to help improve you or your clients movement imbalances.

Franz and Yoana have done a great job putting the Battling Ropes concepts together with the Hardstyle kettlebell approach. Excellent Tool for Personal Trainers!
I just got the DVD today, Oct. 20, 2009 and like it very much. I am a Personal Trainer and this kettlebell exercises combined with the rope will help me teach a lot of variations to my clients and co-workers. Excellent training for Boot Camps.

Content is what matters first!
While the look of the video may be one thing, the content, I thought, was well presented. The drills look easier than they are to perform and I understood that the kettlebell work is intended not at showing something new, but rather implement basic KB drills for conditioning. All natural movement patterns remain in place, and Franz makes a point of addressing when to perform such a workout, as it is a smoker! The rope work is fun, and requires a certain amount of coordination. This is an instructional DVD first, showcasing drills that one may not necessarily know. The execution of the basics oftentimes leads to great results. IMHO, the DVD delivers on that note.

Love your Ropes DVD!
Got your DVD as soon as it came out. It was just what I was looking for. Sometimes with my classes I seem to run out of ideas with incorporating ropes. Yours gave me tons of ideas...thank you! I know my clients love them too b/c they complain & groan when I show them what excercises we are doing with them. I usually hear, "You've got o be joing!" Yet when they are done they sing a different tune. More like, "That was awesome, that was tough, wow, loved it!"
I remember reading somewhere that Gunnar Peterson once said, You know you have a really good excercise when your clients groan and say "Oh no!" when you tell them what you are doing. Stay well,

This DVD was Awesome!
I've used the rope with my trainer for conditioning in the past and am well aware of the cardiovascular benefits. AKA know how it kicks your butt in a very short period of time. When I saw the DVD on Dragon Door I decided to check it out.
Yoana Snideman rocks. The DVD gives you a variety of rope drills combined with kettlebell exercises that are extremely challenging and engaging. There is a lot of variety,and execution on Yoana's part is exemplary.
As a teacher of an intensive personal training school, I've presented the DVD to my students. They are buying the DVD. I've just purchased a rope -Knot and Rope Supply Unlimited (best deal)Tomorrow my students will experience it.
As the Director of Wellness Services for the JCC I've exposed my trainers to rope conditioning. They're impressed. Revolution Solution! Thumbs up!

Rope workouts!
I have a limited time in which to work out in the mornings and I have found that rope workouts give me intense cardio, great core strength, as well as arm and leg workouts. I feel a good burn for the rest of the day!
