When we met Michael Maher he was a 53 year old unhealthy male, six-feet tall and weighed 243 lbs. A successful marketing executive who spent his free time exercising with a TV remote controller. His goal was to have the body of a 30 year old athlete --a very ambitious goal considering he was unable to even perform a single jump rope.
We started Michael on a nutrition and exercise regiment for weight loss, while at the same time, working to improve his coordination and balance. Within a year he lost 50 pounds and his fitness level reached a level he had never experienced.
Michael overcame many challenges, his doctor diagnosed him with a heart arrhythmia requiring a pacemaker to help control his heart rate. He continue to train with us and Michael's cardiologist started to notice an improvement in his patients response to exercise --the number of arrhythmia-related episodes began to decrease. Soon Michael was in the Himalayas fulfilling a lifelong dream of hiking the Mount Everest trail.

He continues to exercise at Revolution 3-4 times a week with a focus on increasing his overall strength. Today he weighs 195 lbs. and is one of the strongest students in our class. He can press, with a single arm, the 44kg kettlebell for a single and a 40kg for five reps. He is able to perform over three minutes of jump rope and his stamina and endurance are one of the best in our facility.
Michael achieved his goal at 61 years old --the compliments he receives on his athletic abilities is icing on the cake!
